Mathematics in Pavement Design

Sharing knowledge is central to the philosophy of the PAVERS Team!

The PAVERS Team draws on some 75 year pooled experience of pavement design and non-destructive techniques. When we get involved in a project, we thoroughly train our client in using and understanding all features of the evaluation methodology. Besides that The PAVERS Team transfers its experience by means of training courses, presentations and publications, and via participation in national and international working groups. A short training course on pavement models and theories can be organised.

Dr. Frans Van Cauwelaert’s rigorous mathematical models are the core of the Pavers ® program. Frans, member of our PAVERS team wrote an unique textbook on the required mathematics used in pavement design and evaluation. The book is intended for Civil Engineers and more specific for Pavement Engineers.
